What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. Sjögren’s disease is a debilitating autoimmune disease with significant unmet medical need and no approved disease-modifying therapies. Dazodalibep is an investigational medicine currently in Phase 3 clinical development for the treatment of Sjögren’s disease. As a potential first-in-class treatment in a disease area with significant unmet need, the U.S. launch will require both compelling brand strategy and innovative approaches to educate, engage, and activate HCPs.
In this role, the Medical Marketing – Sjögren’s Disease, Senior Manager will lead the U.S. opinion leader (OL) engagement and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) strategy, Sjögren’s Disease Speaker Bureau, and marketing-led HCP education. Reporting to the Director of Medical Marketing, this individual will translate brand priorities into an integrated external engagement model that strengthens strategic relationships, customer confidence, brand differentiation, and high-quality field execution.
This is an opportunity to help shape the U.S. Sjögren’s Disease market as the treatment landscape evolves and the brand prepares for launch. In a fast-moving, highly cross-functional environment, this role will set the strategy for opinion leader engagement and peer-to-peer education, build trusted relationships across the expert community, and turn customer and field insights into meaningful launch priorities. Advisory boards and other primary insight-generation forums are led by the Insights & Congress Strategy Senior Manager; this role translates those learnings into engagement plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and evolve the U.S. opinion leader (OL) engagement and peer-to-peer (P2P) strategy for Sjögren’s Disease, translating brand priorities, customer needs, and the evolving treatment landscape into clear engagement priorities for launch and beyond
- Map and segment established and emerging OLs, partnering with Medical Affairs, Field Medical, TLLs, and HCP Marketing to build a coordinated, insight-led engagement plan
- Build trusted relationships across the OL community to deepen customer understanding, surface emerging opportunities, and inform brand and launch decisions
- Lead the Sjögren’s Disease Speaker Bureau, including speaker recruitment, onboarding, segmentation, activation, and ongoing optimization
- Manage marketing-led HCP education programs, including speaker programs, Peer Discussion Groups, ITUs, and other approved educational initiatives
- Lead speaker training and development, including curriculum design, content preparation, faculty training, and ongoing capability building
- Shape marketing-led OL engagement at congresses, including symposia, product theaters, ITUs, faculty activities, and other approved programs
- Coordinate priority engagements with TLLs and cross-functional partners ensuring appropriate follow-up and integration with broader congress plans
- Partner with the TLL Lead and Commercial Training to shape the TLL onboarding and training curriculum, building the knowledge, skills, and capabilities needed for effective customer engagement and field execution
- Oversee the development and lifecycle of P2P content and resources, guiding agency partners through development, review and approval, rollout, and updates
- Use program data, customer feedback, field insights, and competitive intelligence to assess performance, identify opportunities, and improve the P2P and OL engagement approach
- Synthesize OL, customer, and program insights into actionable input for brand and tactical planning; communicate key learnings, opportunities, and risks to cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage budgets, agencies, and external partners with strong financial stewardship, sound prioritization, compliance, and attention to quality
- Foster a culture of scientific curiosity, customer centricity, ownership, collaboration, and innovation, modeling Amgen Values and maintaining high standards across the Sjögren’s disease brand team and cross-functional partnerships
