This site-based role provides technology planning, coordination, delivery, governance, and operational support for the Marietta site. The Technology Analyst serves as a key link between Site Technology, Product teams, Delivery Leads, Infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure technology services are effectively planned, delivered, supported, and continuously improved.
The role requires broad technical understanding across site infrastructure, end-user technologies, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data connectivity, asset and service management, and manufacturing technology environments. The role will lead or coordinate infrastructure planning, project delivery, technology risk management, major incident problem solving, continuous improvement, and lifecycle management of technology assets and services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong learning agility, curiosity, self-initiative, and the ability to rapidly develop working knowledge across multiple technical domains. The individual must be able to translate technical issues into business impacts, coordinate diverse teams, and drive actions to completion in a complex, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on site Tech roadmap projects, leveraging established governance mechanisms and working effectively in the matrix with product, platform, engineering and business teams to translate plans into executed releases, track benefits, remediate issues and ensure that site-level outcomes are realized in line with Smart Manufacturing and S/4 ambitions.
- Help Site Tech lead to manage local deployment, rollout, continuity and operational support of global applications and infrastructure, coordinating cutover and Hypercare, aligning central templates with site-specific needs, and ensuring that business users, quality and engineering are prepared, trained and supported as new capabilities are introduced or existing services are enhanced.
- Help Site Forward Deployment Engineer with continuous improvement and digital data & analytics initiatives by co-designing and implementing paperless and data-driven solutions, supporting use case delivery on Smart Manufacturing, AI and S/4, and ensuring that integrations, data quality and local process changes are aligned with the site tech roadmap and infra constraints.
- Lead structured problem solving for major incidents and recurring service issues, coordinating cross-functional teams, facilitating root cause analysis, communicating business impact, and driving corrective and preventive actions through closure.
- Manage IT risk, security, continuity and compliance with global IT standards for site technologies, actively monitoring controls, dependency and lifecycle risks, coordinating with central security and infra teams, and ensuring that infra, OT and application changes remain within approved guardrails and support inspection readiness and business resilience.
- Provide audit and inspection support, overseeing external IT and infra resources, preparing evidence and documentation across applications, infra and Smart Manufacturing solutions, and ensuring that partner activities, incident responses and lifecycle decisions are transparent, traceable and aligned with GSK policies and regulatory expectations.
- In coordination with the Resilient Ops team, support lifecycle management of technology assets and services, including PCs, scanners, peripherals, network and site infrastructure, cloud resources, applications, and manufacturing technologies, coordinating refresh, upgrade, support, and decommissioning activities.
- Maintain governance and data quality for technology assets and services, including ServiceNow, CMDB, inventory, ownership, support, lifecycle, and audit records, while providing clear reporting on asset health, risks, and upcoming actions.
