The successful candidate will combine strong strategic thinking with exceptional execution. They will be expected to quickly understand complex business priorities, translate them into clear and compelling communications, manage multiple initiatives independently and drive work from strategy through delivery in a complex, global organization.

  • Collaborate across the Global Operations Communications team and broader Corporate Communications organization to ensure alignment, share best practices and identify opportunities to amplify Operations stories.
  • Manage external agency and vendor support as needed, providing clear direction and oversight to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, exercising strong judgment and prioritization while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use communications insights, feedback and available measurement to continuously strengthen communications approaches and improve effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of integrated communications experience required, including at least five years in a complex corporate communications or agency environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, journalism, marketing, public relations or related field.
  • Significant progressive experience in corporate communications, employee communications, executive communications or a related discipline.
  • Experience with content management platforms and design tools, as well as working with external developers and vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic communications programs that advance business priorities.
  • Experience developing executive-level communications and working directly with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strategic thinker and exceptional executor, with the ability to move seamlessly between big-picture communications planning and hands-on delivery.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to translate complex subjects into clear, concise and compelling communications.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build credibility and effective working relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • High degree of ownership, initiative and independence, with the judgment to move work forward while knowing when to engage others.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, particularly in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
