At Johnson & Johnson, we believe trusted data can help transform how MedTech Supply Chain makes decisions and delivers for customers. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Data Ecosystem Product Owner who will help us shape how data is organized, governed, and made available across the organization.

In this role, you will connect business priorities with technology delivery. You’ll work alongside product, data engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, and governance teams to turn business needs into scalable data capabilities. Together, we’ll build an ecosystem that makes trusted, reusable data easier to discover and use across digital products, analytics, and business applications.

Ready to help us build the data foundation for the future of MedTech Supply Chain?

What You Will Do

  • Develop and communicate the product vision, priorities, and roadmap for assigned data ecosystem capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risk, dependencies, and delivery readiness.
  • Partner with data engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, governance, and platform teams throughout design and delivery.
  • Define business expectations for data flows, metadata, lineage, data quality, access, and integration.
  • Guide the design of APIs, platform integrations, and data-consumption patterns that support business and digital solutions.
  • Bring partners together to clarify decisions, ownership, dependencies, and implementation plans.
  • Prepare the documentation and governance inputs needed for design reviews, compliance activities, and release readiness.
  • Evaluate potential solutions and help teams balance immediate business needs with scalability, interoperability, and reuse.
  • Support analysts and product team members through coaching, feedback, and clear direction.
  • Monitor outcomes, gather feedback, and refine the product roadmap as business needs evolve.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and/or University degree in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, healthcare technology, or related field required; Masters degree preferred

Required:

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in digital product management, enterprise data, systems integration, data governance, or technology-enabled business delivery.
  • Experience working with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, governance, or platform teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, user stories, data flows, integration requirements, or related delivery artifacts.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both business and technology audiences.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional discussions, navigate ambiguity, and influence decisions without relying on direct authority.

Preferred:

  • Experience with modern data platforms, metadata management, data quality, APIs, data governance, or secure data-access patterns.
  • Experience working in healthcare Supply Chain, life sciences, medical technology, or another regulated environment.
  • Experience with Agile product delivery, backlog management, sprint planning, and product roadmaps.
  • Experience coaching team members or providing direction across a product team.
