Job Description Summary

In this role, you will lead the delivery of highly complex, cross-functional technology programs spanning Enterprise Applications, IT Infrastructure & Security, Supply Chain & Services, and Customer Experience.

The portfolio includes ERP transformations (Oracle, SAP), best-of-breed SaaS implementations, custom application builds, and infrastructure programs, delivered across a global manufacturing and distribution footprint in a regulated environment (FDA, SOX).

This leader is accountable for program execution, cost control, and business value realization, and sets a consistent delivery model and governance standard that adheres to global PMO tools, templates, and frameworks. As a steward of PMO excellence, this leader contributes improvements back to the PMO and drives adoption of its standards across the broader IT organization. You will also be responsible for building and scaling the Enterprise Technology Program Management Organization.

Job Description

Reponsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of program managers and vendor resources, setting a consistent delivery model, governance approach, and performance standard across enterprise technology programs
  • Direct end-to-end delivery of multi-cycle ERP transformation programs (Oracle, SAP) across finance, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing, covering functional, technical, security, infrastructure, and change management tracks
  • Oversee delivery of best-of-breed SaaS implementations (such as Salesforce, Coupa, and Workday), custom application builds, and infrastructure and security programs, defining SDLCs and best practices for each program type that meet FDA and SOX requirements
  • Establish governance with clear KPIs, milestones, and reporting cadence, and track cost, schedule, and benefits so programs deliver on time, on budget, and on value
  • Manage risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and tradeoffs across programs, global sites, and vendor partners
  • Align cross-functional business and technology executives on scope, priorities, and tradeoffs, and present program status and decisions to the company’s most senior executives
  • Lead cross-discipline teams to build integrated plans, and hold systems integrators and vendors accountable for delivery, quality, and cost
  • Ensure all programs use global PMO standards, tools, templates, and frameworks rather than creating parallel versions, contribute improvements back to the PMO, and drive adoption of its standards across the broader IT organization
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively, and recommend improvements to existing processes
  • Share technical, procedural, and business knowledge with others. Use your domain expertise to raise colleagues’ knowledge and productivity by creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting a continuous learning culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience program managing multiple cycles of ERP transformation across finance, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing, with exposure to Oracle and SAP implementations
  • Led multiple full-cycle ERP implementations, including functional, technical, security, infrastructure, and change management tracks
  • Exposure to best-of-breed SaaS implementations (such as Salesforce, Coupa, and Workday), custom application development, and infrastructure projects (such as network upgrades, cloud storage migration, and security upgrades)
  • Working knowledge of SDLC requirements for regulated industries, including FDA and SOX, and the ability to define SDLCs and best practices for different program types
  • Experience in a medical technology or high-tech device manufacturing company with multiple manufacturing and distribution sites distributed globally
  • Proven track record of tracking program cost and measuring the value of technology and ERP transformation
  • Proven ability to align cross-functional business executives and present program status to the highest levels of company leadership
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization, including vendor and systems integrator management
  • Experience applying enterprise PMO standards consistently, with a mindset of adopting and improving existing standards over creating new ones, and the ability to drive their adoption beyond one’s direct organization through influence
