We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold ourselves accountable and prioritize safety and quality in everything we do. Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.

The Supplemental Benefits and Directed Spend team at CVS Health is one of the fastest growing business units in the enterprise, uniquely situated at the center of our retail and healthcare businesses including over-the-counter (OTC) Benefits, Rewards, Targeted Kits, HSA/FSA, and SNAP/EBT. We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Client Success team in an essential role as CVS expands its offerings in the benefits space.

Client Success is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and value to our health plan partners within Supplemental Benefits and Directed Spend through strategic account management, plan and expense reporting, and championing in-store experience initiatives. The team leads the relationship with health plans to offer and manage supplemental benefits for members to spend on qualified purchases.

As a Senior Manager on the Client Success team, you will shape strategic account opportunities and identify areas for growth while increasing operational efficiency. You will take the lead in three areas that matter most to our health plan clients: managing the network of retail stores where members can use their benefits, including requests to add independent stores; running targeted programs that deliver benefits or products directly to specific groups of members; and keeping clients informed about what is changing in the Medicare and Medicaid markets. The ideal candidate is adaptable and brings strong skills in project management, strategic analysis, client engagement, data analytics, and stakeholder management.

If you are a motivated individual with a passion for driving cross-functional projects and strategic analysis in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at CVS Health!

What You Will Do

  • Lead targeted programs designed for specific groups of members, such as extra benefits offered by a health plan and curated product kits shipped straight to members’ homes. Set the direction, manage day-to-day operations, and look for ways to grow and improve each program.
  • Prepare and manage the order files that tell our fulfillment teams and partners who to ship to and what to send, checking them for accuracy before they are submitted.
  • Partner with Legal to review and finalize the agreements, terms, and approvals for targeted programs.
  • Manage the network of retail stores where members can use their benefits, working closely with our retail network partner so clients know which stores are available and what is changing.
  • Own the process for client requests to add retail locations to the network: receive each request, track every store through onboarding, and give clients regular status updates until the store is up and running.
  • Stay on top of what is happening in the market, such as new competitor offerings, changes in the retail landscape, regulatory updates, and shifting member needs, and turn it into practical insights and ideas to share with clients.
  • Support client monthly and quarterly business reviews covering program performance, open issues, and opportunities to expand business.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the client to champion enhancements and program needs that improve the experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Inventory, Implementation, Finance, and Operations to support client and program needs.
  • Navigate a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in an evolving space while balancing communication, stakeholder management, and timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience working on cross-functional teams or in a client facing relationship centric role
  • Demonstrated ability to own initiatives end-to-end and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong communication skills with ability to synthesize and present market insights and program updates to clients and leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with experience managing trackers, files, or reporting across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis (10-15%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-8 years’ experience consulting, project management, consumer goods, corporate healthcare, or provider/payor functions
  • Experience working with Legal partners on contracts, amendments, or compliance review
  • Familiarity with health plan extra benefits, especially for Medicare or Medicaid members, or with retail store programs
  • Advanced degree

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
