You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain compliance with applicable requirements and support a safe, responsible workplace.
How You Will Contribute:

- Manage assigned EHS projects and processes independently, prioritizing activities and completing work within established objectives and timelines.
- Partner with site stakeholders to communicate environmental and safety concerns, address compliance gaps, and support effective resolution of issues.
- Apply environmental science and occupational hygiene principles to assess risks and recommend practical risk-reduction measures.
- Coach colleagues and review the work of less-experienced professionals, sharing technical knowledge and supporting consistent EHS practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety programs, environmental performance, and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 3–7 years of relevant professional experience in environmental, health and safety (EHS) is required.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or petrochemical refining is preferred.
- A strong understanding of environmental, health and safety regulations and compliance programs, including applicable OSHA and EPA requirements, is required.
- Knowledge of workplace audits, risk assessments, process safety hazard controls, and emergency response programs is preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing safety programs, conducting investigations, and recommending corrective and preventive actions is preferred.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or OHSAS 18001 is preferred.
