Project Management, Senior Associate

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will coordinate scientific data and support key business functions. The successful candidate will organize and quality-check data for sharing, coordinate cross-functional work, and improve manual processes in partnership with scientists, data management resources, and business and functional teams. The role requires sound judgment, reliable follow-through, and the ability to identify when decisions or approvals need to be escalated.

This is a remote role, reporting directly to the Strategic Planning and Operations Sr. Manager, TSRS. Occasional travel (up to 20% of the time) could be required.

Responsibilities:

· Compile scientific data into approved tools, templates or formats for sharing; check records for completeness, consistency, and alignment with agreed requirements.

· Manage requests for scientific data by working with scientists and data owners to identify systems and tools to streamline data procurement from enterprise-wide source locations.

· Coordinate approved exchanges of data with internal and external partners, confirming that required content, approvals, and transfer steps are complete and escalating questions about data selection, permissions, or release decisions to the appropriate owners.

· Coordinate activities for internal initiatives and extramural memberships, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and follow-up notes, and tracking actions through completion.

· Build business information tools by gathering user needs, documenting process and system requirements, coordinating prioritization, participating in testing, and helping prepare instructions or training for new tools.

· Identify repetitive or manual workflows that may be improved through modernization or automation.

· Maintain visibility to financial trackers, monitor commitments and actual spending, and flag discrepancies or forecast variances for management review.
