What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role, you will champion a safe and compliant production environment through structured on-the-floor presence. You will lead the Purification manufacturing team in the execution of downstream processing operations, supporting reliable, right-first-time production while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, product quality, and compliance. This role will also be well positioned to champion problem solving and continuous improvement among the team and in collaboration with cross-functional partners in Quality, EHSS, F&E, and Process Development. The manager will be an active player in our OnePlant operating model, building reliability, agility, and efficiency through our I-530 pathway and Agile Workforce.
The Front-Line Manager will collaborate routinely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Facilities and Engineering, Maintenance, Process Development, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Regulatory Compliance, and other site functions. This role requires strong technical ownership of purification manufacturing operations, disciplined execution of cGMP and safety expectations, and the ability to make timely decisions in a dynamic production environment.
With minimal direction, the Manager is responsible for leading on-the-floor operations and staff in manufacturing. The Manager will supervise, coach, hire, onboard, and develop manufacturing staff while ensuring that team members are trained, capable, engaged, and prepared to meet production requirements. The Front-Line Manager will help define area objectives, identify improvement opportunities, lead change efforts, and deliver against short- and long-term AR5 manufacturing goals. This leader will be expected to strengthen reliability, improve operational efficiency, enable agility for future business needs, and support AR5’s commitment to being the best place for talent.
The onboarding phase for this role will last 2–6 weeks. During this time, successful incumbents will work an administrative schedule of Monday through Friday, approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Following onboarding, the successful incumbent will join the D shift team working a 12-hour night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., on a two-week rotation covering seven days per week. The rotating shift offers several benefits, including an average of 14 days on shift per month, every other weekend off, and a 15% shift differential.
Scope of Responsibilities
