This role is responsible for translating business, clinical, operational, regulatory, and technical needs into clear requirements, workflow documentation, test scenarios, and implementation plans that support successful delivery of Testing and Prescribing capabilities.

This colleague partners closely with Product, Clinical, Legal, Regulatory, Patient Safety, Digital, IT, Medical Affairs, Operations, and external partners to support the design, build, testing, and rollout of new or enhanced pharmacy health services. The role supports both existing services, including respiratory testing and treatment prescribing and hormonal birth control prescribing, as well as future clinical service models and enterprise initiatives that rely on pharmacist-enabled care, EHR documentation, care coordination, and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business, clinical, operational, regulatory, and technical needs into clear requirements, user stories, workflow documentation, and implementation support materials for Testing & Prescribing capabilities
  • Partner with Product, IT, Digital, Clinical, Operations, and other stakeholders to support end-to-end execution of new and enhanced pharmacy health service capabilities, with a strong focus on requirements gathering, traceability, testing coordination, and delivery readiness
  • Develop, document, and manage test cases; support user acceptance testing (UAT); validate workflow behavior; track defects, dependencies, and open questions; and help drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams
  • Support design and implementation of technology-enabled pharmacy care workflows, including Epic-based documentation, care coordination, referral pathways, provider visibility, and supporting clinical content
  • Coordinate cross-functional input across clinical, regulatory, patient safety, legal, privacy, and compliance stakeholders to ensure requirements, risks, dependencies, and mitigation needs are identified and addressed prior to launch or expansion
  • Create and maintain workflow documents, implementation plans, governance materials, walkthroughs, submission forms, stakeholder updates, and recommendations that clearly communicate requirements, risks, decisions, and operational impact
  • Support pilot execution, implementation tracking, readiness activities, issue triage, and continuous improvement efforts related to Testing & Prescribing services and adjacent pharmacy health service capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy, clinical operations, healthcare technology, IT project delivery, product implementation, or a related field
  • Proven experience writing requirements, developing test cases, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), managing defects or issue logs, and coordinating delivery across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business, clinical, operational, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear workflows, documentation, and executable implementation plans
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled implementations, system enhancements, workflow changes, or service launches in matrixed environments
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills, including stakeholder coordination, documentation, execution planning, status reporting, and follow-through

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic EHR workflows, clinical documentation, implementation, testing, optimization, or interoperability-enabled healthcare solutions
  • Experience supporting pharmacist-provided healthcare services, retail clinical services, or healthcare service delivery innovation
  • Experience working on IT or product implementations involving requirements gathering, test planning, UAT coordination, and cross-functional delivery management
  • Knowledge of state pharmacy regulations, scope-of-practice requirements, healthcare policy interpretation, clinical quality frameworks, patient safety methodologies, and medical/pharmacy benefit integration strategies
  • Experience supporting pilots, proof-of-concepts, or phased rollouts in healthcare or pharmacy environments
  • PharmD and active pharmacist license
