About the Job

At Sanofi, we chase the miracles of science. In Transplant Medicine, scientific breakthroughs can translate directly into improved outcomes and renewed hope for patients. The fields of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and Solid Organ Transplantation (SOT) represent some of medicine's most complex frontiers, and our team is committed to advancing them.

We are seeking a Global Medical Lead, Pipeline to join our growing Transplant portfolio. This is a pivotal global medical leadership role that sits at the intersection of science, strategy, and patient impact — shaping how Sanofi engages with the HSCT and SOT community worldwide and driving the medical vision for our transplant franchise.

If you are a scientific leader with deep expertise in the field of transplantation and a passion for translating science into meaningful patient outcomes, this is your opportunity to make a global difference.

Join the engine of Sanofi’s mission — where deep immunoscience meets bold, AI-powered research. In R&D, you’ll drive breakthroughs that could turn the impossible into possible for millions.

About Sanofi

We’re an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. Our deep understanding of the immune system – and innovative pipeline – enables us to invent medicines and vaccines that treat and protect millions of people around the world. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the Global Medical Strategy for Pipeline assets across both HSCT and SOT, ensuring alignment with overall franchise objectives and patient needs.
  • Serve as a key scientific expert and thought leader for pipeline assets, representing Sanofi at international congresses, advisory boards, and with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the transplant and hematologic oncology community.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with R&D, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal teams to ensure integrated, patient-centric decision-making.
  • Provide scientific and medical support for clinical trials for the pipeline assets, including the development and implementation of Med Dev initiatives.
  • Drive crossfunctional strategy through participation in Global Product Teams (GPT), Medical Review Committee (MRC), and other governance bodies.
  • Support product launches by developing and implementing medical launch readiness plans, scientific communication strategies, and HCP engagement frameworks tailored to the transplant community.
  • Develop and execute early integrated communications strategies and publication planning to build the scientific narrative for pipeline assets within the franchise.
  • Drive evidence generation strategies for pipeline assets, including real-world evidence (RWE) to support the understanding of the patient journey, early competitive landscape analysis, and support for HTA interactions.
  • Ensure all medical activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, Sanofi SOPs, and ethical standards.
  • Leverage digital health technologies and data insights to inform medical strategy and decision-making.
  • Drive innovation and technology adoption within the global medical team, staying current with emerging digital tools and AI applications in medical affairs.
  • Lead omnichannel stakeholder engagement strategies, creating targeted HCP journeys and experiences for transplant physicians, hematologists, and oncologists that drive meaningful behavioral change.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to generate actionable insights from real-world evidence and medical intelligence platforms relevant to HSCT outcomes.
  • Lead and deliver external medical education as well as internal medical training programs for global and regional medical teams, building scientific excellence across the organization in HSCT and hematologic oncology.
