Global HR Business Partner -Fully Onsite Opportunity
Job Description
As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every day: enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources they need to achieve their career goals while helping take science a step beyond—developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, from protecting the environment and ensuring food safety to helping find cures for cancer.
Description
As a Global HR Business Partner (Senior HR Manager) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to executive leaders across the Clinical Development Services Division (CDSD), part of the Clinical Research Group (CRG). You’ll help translate business strategy into people priorities and organizational actions that build capability, strengthen performance and deliver business results.
This role has global responsibility for the Oversight Directors talent segment across our therapeutic business units and our Functional Service Provider (FSP) business. You’ll work closely with executive and senior leaders to understand their goals and operating challenges, offer an informed HR perspective, and guide decisions on organization, leadership and talent. You’ll influence through sound judgment, business insight and a practical understanding of how people and organizational choices affect results.
As a true business partner, you’ll consult with leaders on complex and sometimes ambiguous issues, frame options and tradeoffs, and recommend approaches that address both immediate needs and longer-term business priorities. You’ll constructively challenge assumptions when appropriate, help leaders anticipate talent and organizational risks, and guide them through decisions with clarity and accountability.
You’ll lead and connect HR work across organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent and succession, leadership development, performance, employee engagement, compensation, employee relations and change management. You’ll use workforce data and business context to identify trends, surface risks and opportunities, and turn insights into focused actions. You’ll also help leaders build strong, inclusive teams and a culture grounded in Thermo Fisher Scientific’s 4i values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
Working across a global matrix, you’ll collaborate with HR colleagues and business partners to deliver consistent, effective solutions while adapting to local requirements and business needs. You’ll advise leaders on HR policies, processes and relevant employment practices, and help implement enterprise initiatives in ways that support CDSD’s strategy and operating model.
