  • Own annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, long-range planning, capital and operating expense governance, variance management, and financial performance reporting across the IT portfolio.
  • Advise the CIO and senior technology leadership on investment allocation, affordability, financial risk, portfolio trade-offs, and opportunities to improve business value from technology spending.
  • Establish decision rights, financial controls, management-review forums, reporting standards, and accountability mechanisms for IT portfolio, product, platform, service, and program owners.
  • Lead vendor financial management across strategic IT suppliers, including spend plans, actuals, forecasts, accruals, contract commitments, renewal assumptions, consumption trends, rate structures, and financial-performance reporting.
  • Partner with Procurement/Sourcing, Finance, Legal, IT service owners, and vendor-management teams to evaluate commercial proposals, contract economics, renewals, sourcing strategies, vendor consolidation opportunities, and service-demand assumptions.
  • Establish vendor financial scorecards and executive reviews that provide visibility into spend, contractual commitments, forecast variances, commercial risks, savings, service economics, and value realization.
  • Drive sustained cost optimization through vendor spend analysis, contract and licensing optimization, demand management, service-cost transparency, benchmarking, portfolio rationalization, and financial benefits tracking.
  • Lead the financial evaluation of technology investments, business cases, transformation programs, and strategic initiatives, including total cost of ownership, scenario analysis, benefits, risks, and post-investment value realization.

  • Track TSA costs, monitor synergy targets, and report on separation-related financial performance.
