ROLE SUMMARY
Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses the power of data and insights to inform some of Pfizer’s most critical commercial decisions. With colleagues across the globe, GCA combines analytical expertise, business knowledge and strategic problem solving to support the enterprise and improve outcomes for patients.
Insights, Intelligence & Strategy (IIS) partners closely with Oncology commercial leaders to translate business questions into insights and actions. The team brings together secondary analytics, market research, forecasting, data science and other sources of intelligence to help leaders understand performance, identify opportunities and make better decisions.
As an IIS Oncology Associate, you will work in a dynamic, fast paced environment supporting strategic and analytical priorities across the Oncology portfolio. You will partner with IIS colleagues, Oncology commercial teams and other GCA functions to frame business questions, conduct analyses, synthesize insights and translate findings into clear recommendations.
The role is well suited for someone who is intellectually curious, comfortable working across multiple priorities, able to learn new analytical tools quickly and effective at communicating with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support analysis of key Oncology business questions across brand performance, customer engagement, field effectiveness, patient dynamics and portfolio opportunities
• Translate unstructured business questions into clear analytical approaches, working with relevant GCA teams and data sources to develop fact based answers
• Conduct secondary data analyses using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Excel, visualization tools and GenAI enabled analytics environments
• Integrate insights across multiple sources, including secondary analytics, market research, forecasting and data science, to develop a holistic view of business performance and opportunities
• Develop analyses and tools that improve field and customer decision making, including targeting, prioritization, alerts and performance tracking
• Synthesize complex analyses into clear, concise recommendations for Oncology commercial stakeholders and senior leaders
• Collaborate across IIS, PAI, Data Science, Forecasting, UAL and other GCA teams to ensure analyses leverage appropriate capabilities and avoid duplicative work
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong quality, responsiveness and stakeholder communication
• Use GenAI and emerging analytical tools to accelerate analysis and insight generation while applying appropriate business judgment and validation
• Build strong working relationships across GCA and the Oncology organization and proactively seek context needed to understand broader business objectives
